“On It” burgers opened 8 days ago in Ferntree Gully, and since then I have been dying to try another one of their tasty burgers. It was take away tonight and this time it was “The Nod” (ie you won’t be speaking!). Two grass fed, 150 gram beef patties, double American melted cheese, pickle, ‘On It’ sauce, tomato, lettuce, red onion and artisan bun. I also decided to add their signature “bacon jam” to this beast for the complete package!
Firstly, it may have been because it was take away, or maybe because of the sheer size, but the burger seemed to have been put together a little sloppy?! Not that I let that stop me from destroying it as the taste was awesome! Very meaty (obviously) and the ‘On It’ sauce is unreal!! The bacon jam (very original), added a great hint of sweet bacon taste to it, and everything else just worked!
The place was packed pretty early, and is a sign that these burgers are growing in popularity already. Suggest you get down and try one for yourself – you won’t regret it!
