Well, another perfect day for burgering, so took the trek out to “8Bit” in Footscray. I have read and heard plenty of good things about this place, so was very excited to be going there. Arriving mid-afternoon to see a line of people out the door and onto the street was a very good start!
There are 6 burgers to choose from, but couldn’t go past the “Double Dragon” with double beef, double cheese, double bacon, pickles, mustard, lettuce and 8Bit sauce!! It looked good from the start – half wrapped in paper and presented standing upright in a small take away box.
This is definitely one of the best burgers I have had. Not too big, clean to eat and packed full of taste. The meat tasted fantastic, the bun was spot on and there was not too much of anything. The mustard vs the pickles vs the bacon vs the 8Bit sauce – perfect combination!
Definitely recommend that you go and try this for yourself. Don’t be put off if you have to wait because it adds to the experience and will be absolutely worth it!!!
